The Brief
Maison Verre was losing bookings to third-party platforms that charged 18–22% commission on every reservation. Their existing website couldn't take direct bookings, and the design — a generic hotel template — completely undermined the experience guests would find on arrival. They needed a site that earned trust and captured revenue.
The Approach
The site needed to do two things perfectly: convince and convert. We built a deeply editorial experience — long-form storytelling, immersive full-bleed photography, and a deliberate scroll that reveals the property room by room. The booking system was built custom, integrated directly with their property management software, and designed to be the simplest possible path from interest to reservation.
The Digital Experience
Hotels sell a feeling before they sell a room. The site needed to transmit that feeling — the quality of light in the morning, the texture of the linens, the sound of the courtyard at dusk.
We built the site around full-bleed imagery and unhurried typography. Each room has its own editorial page. The restaurant has a dedicated experience. The site moves the way the property feels: slowly, deliberately, with care.
The Booking System
Rather than integrating a third-party booking widget (which would send users to another branded experience), we built a custom booking flow that lives natively within the site. It connects directly to their Channel Manager via API, shows real-time availability, and handles payment through Stripe.
The result: a seamless booking experience that keeps guests in the Maison Verre world from first impression to confirmation email.
The Brand
Maison Verre’s existing brand had bones — a beautiful logotype — but lacked a complete system. We extended it into a full visual language: a refined type system, a palette of deep navy and warm gold, and a set of graphic rules for print and digital.
